The WOOD: Art Design Architecture exhibition showcased 28 outstanding projects by contemporary Australian artists, designers and architects, all working with wood as their main material.
I was commissioned to write a series of insights and profiles about the nine Victorian designers whose work was exhibited. These written pieces were printed alongside stunning photographs and drawings of each designer’s work, and published as an extensive, and beautifully designed, exhibition catalogue.
I interviewed each designer to gain a more detailed and personal insight into their work, uncovering stories of determination and childhood inspirations that I weaved into the profiles.
This stunning book displays my versatility as a writer, and my ability to turn my hand to any subject and find the story hidden within.
